The Light Within
Nurturing Spiritual Growth in a Chaotic World
Cepher Verse1: Therefore all they that devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil you shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon you will I give for a prey. For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahuah; because they called you an Outcast, saying: This is Tsiyon, whom no man seeks after. Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 30:16-17 | את Cepher
Rollercoaster of Life
There are countless emotions a person can experience in a single day, and each one carries its own weight. At times, life can feel overwhelming, as if everything is happening all at once. Yet when the day is taken moment by moment, what once felt heavy begins to feel more manageable. In those small, intentional pauses, clarity replaces chaos and strength quietly begins to grow.
People who are in the faith know that there is worse to come. The worst, comes in the form of more war, division, death and destruction. The worst comes in the form of people hurting in larger numbers than ever before. Sometimes it’s easy to get sucked into the disappointment, anger, and fruitless lives making heart breaking decisions but DON’T. Know that our father made us aware of these things for this time. We were created for this.
This is our time to be a light in darkness. This is what I know you and I are called to do during this time. I have been focusing for years now on positivity and a fragrance of The Most High. Yet after my recent diagnosis, I can’t pretend that I am always in a positive space, but I know, I can be a light. Being a light is radiating the gratitude, and joy within. Allowing the ruach to move through me, and surrounding myself with those who do the same, so when I am weak they are strong and represent the same as I. Being a light is first loving Abba Yahuah, which the greatest commandment. Next is loving your neighbor as you love yourself. Staying close to the commandments, and the statutes (found in Exodus). Trying to live right is being a light. The word gives us a strong guide as to how we could live our lives in a way that is pleasing to Yahuah and appreciated by our fellow humans. For a great refresher, a great place would be Proverbs. (My son, forget not my Torah; but let your heart guard my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them upon the table of your heart: So shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of Elohiym and man. Trust in El-Yahuah with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes: fear Yahuah and depart from evil. CepherMishlei (Proverbs) 3:1-7 | את Cepher)

Seeing Yourself
This is one of my old favorite Dove videos that highlighted how we see ourselves vs how others see us. This very powerful video dives into self-actualization. It creates reflection about the qualities we are radiating that others are catching. It helps to live intentionally. Be gentle with yourself, in this next era of my life I refer to myself as a “Babygirl” this is recognition of the delicate flower phase of my life. Majority of my life I have been a savage, a girl who was forced and created to be strong, resilient, needing no help. In this new era, I need help, love, support, and more because I am no longer the woman I used to be. I don’t have the energy nor the mindset to be that woman, I am a new version on myself opening up parts of me that was shut down, or completely off.
This Youtube2 video could sometimes have me in tears because what’s wrong with us? How are we viewing ourselves in a way that’s not in alignment with Yahuah? He made you in a way that’s perfect for you to navigate life, equipped with what you need to survive, and ways to thrive and be successful in your own right.
I challenge you to write out some qualities about yourself. Then add on to this list by talking with those who love you and keep adding all those adjectives. The list may reference the other people’s names and what they said but the point is to have a nice list filled with everything that make you, you. Remember how you are showing up now, and how you can keep leaning into who Abba has truly created you to be.
